Fenton Flame Crest Candleholder #7474 FC This flame crest design by Fenton Glass was made only in 1963 making it a difficult to find piece. It measures 6" tall and 4 1/2" across the base. It stands straight and does not wobble and the crest is more orange than red.

There are some manufacturing flaws with some straw marks and a tiny stone the size of a pinhead embedded in the glass (see photo). There is also some roughness along the inner rim along the top.

8-160

Fenton Silver Crest Spanish Lace Compote This wonderful white glass compote was made by Fenton glass during the 1980's. It has a wonderful scrolling pattern, called Spanish Lace and the rim of the ruffled top is clear (silver crest line). It stands 6 3/4" tall and is in wonderful condition with no cracks, chips or signs of use. There is one speck on the ruffle edge that looks and feels like an air bubble or grain of sand in the glass when observed with my loop. The bottom is marked Fenton 8, indicating production during the 80's. This is one of my favorite Fenton patterns - very classy! Satisfaction guaranteed.

8-38

Fenton Daisy & Fern Blue Opalescent Barber Bottle This lovely barber bottle was made by Fenton Glass for L.G. Wright in the Daisy & Fern pattern. This particular example is blue opalescent - pale blue with white opalescent details throughout. It measures 7 1/2" tall without the silvertone & cork stopper and 4" wide at the widest point.
Condition is excellent with no cracks or chips. There are a few normal bubble/imperfections, etc., that is typical of older glass. It appears to have been very well kept without even the normal scuffing I usually see on the bottom - it was obviously well loved!

This piece is also housed in my showcase in Milton, WV. My apologies if it sells there and I do not remove the listing promptly.

8-44

Fenton Jade Snow Crest Large Salad Bowl This scarce line by Fenton was only made in 1942. It features jade glass (the color of jadite) with an opal glass trim - it was the early version of Snowcrest.
The bowl measures 9 1/2" in diameter and 3" tall. The glass is shiny with minimal signs of use - it was well cared for. The bottom has a ground rim that has a little wear from shelf sitting as well as a small inner rim flake which is common on ground rims.

This color combination is spectacular and the pics don't do it justice!

I also have 8 small dessert bowls in this pattern as well...

8-45

Fenton Jade Snow Crest Dessert Bowls - Set of 8 This scarce line by Fenton was only made in 1942. It features jade glass (the color of jadite) with an opal glass trim - it was the early version of Snowcrest.
Each of the 8 bowls measures 5 1/2" in diameter and is 2 1/2" tall. They are shiny and clean and range from unused to lightly used. There are normal older glass issues such as a few straw marks, swirls in the green glass and bubbles. There is a slight variance between the bowls as far as exact size and crimps in the ruffles - normal for older glass. Two of the bowls have the slightest of flakes on the foot - felt rather than seen.

This color combination is spectacular and the pics don't do it justice! You won't be disappointed!

I also have the large salad bowl in this pattern as well...

8-1015

Fenton Cranberry Spiral Optic Rose Bowl Lamp This beautiful vintage Fenton electric lamp is in the cranberry spiral optic pattern. This particular lamp was made from the 7" rose bowl shape and has the prongs used to set a large lamp shade as well as a chimney shade in the middle. I've seen these with white shade or cranberry shades depending on personal preference. It stands 14 1/4" tall and 8 5/8" wide without shades.

Condition is excellent with the cranberry opalescent glass in perfect condition. There is some normal aging to the metal as well as some flakes on the marble base. It is in working condition but I always advise that you have a certified electrician take a look at the wiring or have it re-wired since it is vintage.

This piece is also housed in my showcase in Milton, WV. My apologies if it sells there and I do not remove the listing promptly.
