Condition: Excellent Manufacturer: Roseville This is a wonderful example of Roseville Pottery. Introduced during the 1940's, the Clematis pattern features broad blossoms and a trailing ivy vine on a textured background. This particular wall pocket is blue with a white flower with yellow center and green leaves. It has the normal spots of tan/brown along the ridges of the flower, rim and handles that give it an even more textured look - like the pottery is showing through the glaze - nice! It measures 8 1/2" long and 5 3/4" from handle to handle. Condition is excellent with no cracks or chips. There is some light crazing and a small blob of extra pottery way down inside the vase. I see no evidence of use nor any water stains.

There are a few normal pinprick pops.
It is appropriately marked with raised letters "Roseville USA 1295-8".
