This adorable little fella was made in 1978 by Dave Grossman Designs. He appears to be made of sculpted clay but since he has held up so well for the past 30 years through multiple moves, the actual material may be something sturdier. He is a "one owner" lion and has been a fun doorstop for me since '78 but it is time for him to roar into a new home.

He measures 8 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" wide and 8" deep. He is signed on his backside by Dave Grossman and also has an ink stamp mark on the bottom. He weighs over 5 pounds, thus his job as a doorstop.
