This is the Fenton Hobnail lamp base made with # 389 special rose bowl. It was originally paired with the shade from the Fenton Hobnail hurricane lamp. It measures 11" tall and 7" wide at the widest point.
The color is a rich cranberry red with lots of white opalescence. It sits on a square marble base with brass fittings. Condition is excellent - the glass is wonderful. It is in working condition. There is normal aging on the brass fittings and post with some light age cracking in the brass. As with all vintage electrical items, you should have this checked by a certified electrician or have the electrical refitted.
