Adorable squat stoneware jug! It is incised "LYONS, N.Y." on the front under the pour spout. It has a brown albany slip glaze and you can see the potter's finger prints along the bottom as well as an impression pressed into the bottom of the applied handle. It measures 7 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide. Condition is excellent with no cracks. There are normal rough spots but no large chips. There is one bubble pop. A nice old jug!!
