Manufacturer: Ansonia Clock Co
This is a rare model statue, circa 1894 by Ansonia Clock Co. She measures 12 1/8" tall, 9" wide and 4" deep and weighs in at 6 1/2 pounds. The name of this statue is Opera, or #2806, - note the opera mask leaning on the pedestal as well as opera names on the banner. She holds a trumpet and a wreath. The back is marked "Ansonia Clock Co"
Condition is excellent. I believe the finish to be original and there is a little loss with some silver showing through. The camera flash exentuated the loss compared to what I see with the naked eye. The crown is a golden bronze, the rest of this beautiful lady is dark. She has one damaged spot at the edge of her gown by her foot - the edge has broken off or has been cut off (see picture).
