This is an awesome example of a Simplex typewriter, ca. 1920's, with original box. Originally not intended as a toy, it has certainly made its way to that category with time. The typewriter is in very good condition with some normal wear.

| It comes with the original box which is also in very good condition - it has metal reinforcements on the corners which has certainly made the difference! The box has a large ink stain in the bottom from use. The top of the box has the directions imprinted on the inside. |
