This is a hard to find piece of railroad dining car china used by the Rock Island Railroad line. Best of all... there is a set of SIX bouillon cups in the LaSalle pattern with red monogram.
Each cup is marked on the bottom "Albert Pick Co. Inc. Chicago Vitrified China".
Condition of each cup is described from left to right:
1)Tight one inch age line from top edge; a couple of manufacture blips - one bump in top red stripe (in front) & small indentation in the china; small black mark on bottom (looks like magic marker), makers mark is clear, condition looks relatively unused - shiny with few scratches.
2)Again, shiny & appears little use; no cracks or chips;a small pattern blip in the top red stripe; one pattern break where the green pattern cuts off and doesn't meet the other side exactly in the right spot; makers mark clear; one small black mark on bottom.
3) shiny and shows little use; makers mark clear; one small black mark on bottom; one smudge and black mark on the red stripe and on the red right below it; one small indentation in the china.
4) shiny and appears little use; a couple of pattern misses; a small blip in the red stripe; makers mark clear.
5) shiny and appears little use; a little glaze pooling at the foot; bleeding in the green scroll; makers mark clear; and
6) makers mark present but a little lighter than the others; shiny and appears little use; a few small scratches on exterior; bleeding in the green scroll.
