This is one of my favorite shapes designed by Wayne Husted for Blenko Glass in 1959. It was made for 3 years until 1961 - a wonderful mid-century modern shape!
The picture does not capture the beauty of the orange swirl in the glass with faint tint of yellow. This vase measures just under 8" tall and 6 1/2" at the widest point. The base is 3 1/2" wide so there is no top-heavy toppling. The glass is clear, clean and free of cracks and chips - the bottom is marked with the Blenko logo.
